String Registration:
All-State Orchestra Audition registration for strings is online using the form below. Registration is open. Please click the link above to register for All-State Orchestra Auditions. Registration will run through November 28th. The audition registration fee is $35.00. You may pay online here (please include student’s name in the notes) or by cash or check onsite. There is a payment link in the form as well. Teachers needing an invoice to pay for multiple students can contact missouri.allstate.orchestra@gmail.com.
Harp & Piano Registration
All-State Orchestra Audition registration for harp and piano is online using the form below. Registration is open. Please click the link above to register for All-State Orchestra Auditions. Registration is now open through November 28th. The audition registration fee is $35.00. You may pay online here (please include students name in the notes). There is a payment link in the form as well. Your audition should include excerpts from two Contrasting Pieces (each approximately 3 minutes in length). Please play your live audition with a slight pause between each of the excerpts. Do not leave the instrument or cut to different video takes during your audition. If your video is not recorded in one sitting you will be disqualified.
Wind and Percussion Information
Auditions for woodwind, brass and percussion players are held along with the band auditions, and are conducted by the Missouri Bandmasters Association. Students selected for All-State membership may choose to be members of the bands or orchestra, in order of audition score, until all positions are filled. The ASO music and an ASO representative will be at the wind/percussion auditions. All students must meet MSHSAA eligibility requirements.
LATE REGISTRATION
After November 28th, you will have to fill out the LATE ALL-STATE AUDITION REGISTRATION FORM. There is an additional $25.00 fee for late registration.
Results of the audition are posted on the MoASTA website immediately following the auditions. Music folders for those selected for the orchestra will be distributed to teachers at the end of auditions or mailed.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
If All-State Auditions are cancelled due to inclement weather we will go directly to recorded auditions. Specific instructions about the recording and submitting of recordings will be posted on the MoASTA website.
